Alonzo (Lonnie) Myler, P.E.

For me engineering has always been about the challenge of creating a solution to a need. It started early in my education with the desire to solve complex mathematical problems and eventually evolved into a fascination with what makes our physical world tick. One of the things I love about our profession is it affords us the opportunity to use the skills we learned in education when many other careers do not.

The most exciting projects to me are the ones when the Client presents us with a design goal that on the surface may not appear feasible. My reaction is, “there has to be a way and we will figure it out!”. If they made a movie about my life, I’d want Adam Sandler to play me.
